What should I expect during my first visit?
Dr. Trainer will spend extra time with you taking a complete patient history and discussing
your ailment or injury in detail with you. Then, after a thorough examination, he will order any necessary X-rays, MRI, CT scans, or lab tests. Dr. Trainer will then review all test results with you and explain what your treatment plan will be. If possible, you may receive your first chiropractic adjustment on the day of your examination. Following the treatment, you will be instructed in what to do (or not to do) regarding your activity level at home and at work. Advice will also be given on the use of cold packs, heat, exercises, and lifestyle modifications, all aimed at helping to speed the healing process towards a full recovery and to keep your painful problem from returning.
