Chiropractic adjustments to the spine  (spinal manipulation) is a hands-on manual procedure that relies upon highly refined skills developed through years of chiropractic education and training.   A chiropractor will typically use his hands to adjust and move the joints of the body, concentrating mainly on the joints of the spine,  to reduce pain and restore proper joint  position and motion.  The adjustment is a highly controlled and gentle procedure, and many patients note positive changes and relief immediately following a treatment. Other therapies may be used to treat your problems depending on the nature of your condition.
